Pear and Feta Bites
This is another easy appetizer that looks good and tastes good. It doesn’t have shellfish in it, though. In your hors d’oeuvre dish, you should have about that much. Oh, and there aren’t any pricey ingredients, and there isn’t any cooking involved either. Make your salad more colorful by adding red endive leaves. Fried Sage Leaves on top of Fig and Goat Cheese Crusted Toast
They work well together on some French bread that has been toasted, spread both of them. Then you have a good snack. There’s nothing wrong with that, but fry up some sage leaves from the season and top each toast with the garland of green. It’s true. Gougères (Cheese Puffs)
First, they’re from France. So that’s it. They’re also peppery, cheesy, crisp outside, and heaven in the middle. When you cook French cooking, you can make puffs of choux dough and cheese. Heat and stir some of the elements instead, then add flour all at once and stir. Bring off the warmness and mix in the eggs, then stir in cheese and herbs. That’s all there is to it! Eggs from quail that have been pickled
With the proper garnishes, deviled eggs can be exquisite. For something a little different, pickle small quail eggs with chopped beets and serve them with the garnishes on the side. Prosciutto and other cured pork products can be used to wrap things up.
